Brian 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald is a musician based in the Philadelphia area, working in a variety of settings and genres - most notably on the electric violin. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Performance major on violin from West Chester University in PA in 2007 and has since worked/played professionally.
Besides public (bars, clubs, arenas) and private gigging, he has performed on Philadelphia's NBC 10, and on 93.3FM WMMR's Preston & Steve Show, and garnered attention from other Philly media outlets. In 2008, as a top 3 finalist in the My Grammy Moment competition, he performed on national television with the Foo Fighters at the 50th Grammy Awards under the direction of John Paul Jones. Brian has also performed with Trans-Siberian Orchestra founder Mark Wood. Fitzgerald's eclectic rock group, Leaving Cash, has received exposure, support, and praise on TV and radio stations in Philadelphia and in other cities including Delaware's 93.7FM WSTW and State College's 105.9 JOE-FM.
